We're
delighted to welcome a new signing to the Regular Beat fold!
Altmodisch hail from Copenhagen, Denmark and are made up of:
Hans-Christian Pommergaard (keys, guitars & vocals), Thomas
Mondrup (guitars & vocals), Mathias Lyhne (programming & live-sampling)
and Kristoffer Lyhne (drums & live-sampling).
They impressed so much while opening for Alaska In Winter
in Denmark last year that we knew we had to sign them and
we're now planning the release of their debut album (scheduled
to be released towards the end of this year).
If you like your Notwist, The Postal Service or Portishead,
this may just be a band for you. There's mp3s from the album
just added to our myspace player and some more clips within
the Altmodisch section on our website here
>> We'll post more deets on the album's release
in due course.
