"Remiscent of Iron & Wine...incongruous and charming, this is special" Losing Today

When six frustrated, slightly apathetic but largely inspired 20-something kids from the Black Country decide to make music, normally the result is not like Mitch and Murray.

Taking their influences from the lo-fi strummings of their youth (Low, dEUS, Sparklehorse, Red House Painters), the tunes they were fed as children (old blues and doo-wap, soul, folk and The Beach Boys) and whatever they can salvage from their lives in a forgotten part of England - Mitch and Murray produce stark, beautiful and sublime melodies for all the family.

Following appearances on various split-7"s, the band's debut album "The Bleak End Starts Here" was released in 2007 (the recording of which was haunted by mystery illnesses, exploding eyeballs and electrical buzzes from unknown orifices) and was played on Radio 1, XFM and various overseas radio stations.
The follow-up album entitled "A Sad Day For British Wrestling" has just been released.
